About the author:
Dr Brian Weiss is a psychiatrist who lives and practises in Miami, Florida. He is a graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School. For the past few years his work with regression therapy has led him to research the concept of past lives and he conducts seminars and experiential workshops.

Brian Weiss machte nach dem Studium der Psychologie und Medizin schnell Karriere als Leiter der psychologisch-pharmakologischen Abteilung der Universitätsklinik Miami. Bereits wenige Jahre später wurde er zum Chefarzt der psychiatrischen Abteilung eines großen Krankenhauses berufen. In seiner Praxis hatte er Hunderte von Patienten mit Psychopharmaka und konventionellen psychotherapeutischen Methoden behandelt, bis der „Fall Catherine“ sein Weltbild von Grund auf veränderte.
